PinkTails Aviation Academy

New Beginnings

As fall is ushering in, many people stop and reflect on the summer that just was and look forward to the holiday season approaching. It's an exciting time to think about new beginnings. For PinkTails Aviation Academy, that includes new donors, new advocates, new media mentions, and new fundraising opportunities.

"Build the Foundation" is focused on beginning to see the Academy dream come to life. Site plans, blueprints, and artist's rendering are part of the reality to secure a location. With your support, future female aviators will live their dream, one private pilot certificate at a time.

Thank you!

New Donors

New Approach

Flight training can be challenging enough without an ever-changing cockpit. Making it easy for students to focus on flying is critical to their success. Consistency in aircraft reduces the anxiety of learning to fly.

To help with that, Tecnam North America flew to Madison with their P2010 trainer. Sarah and Tanya took to the skies for a test flight in this sweet little craft and put it through its paces.  What an awesome plane!!

New Advocates

Many of you offered encouragement and advice during the last year. It provided the strength to expand the the circle of advocates including

  • local aviation enthusiasts at a number of flying clubs
  • fellow attendees at local mentoring workshops
  • national aviation associations made possible by the awesome press release created with 100 Extraordinary Women

You can help spread the word and build awareness to redefine the face of aviation by being social wherever you hang out.
